The Villa Neretva Hotel-Restaurant is located in the very heart of the delta, on the main road leading from Opuzen to Metković. It provides an excellent starting point for photo-safaris through countless wetland backwaters aboard the traditional Neretva river boats of the area. One can also visit the ornithological collection (229 protected types of bird).

Visits to the remains of temples and forums in Roman Narona (1st and 2nd centuries AD) open the door to a journey into the past.
